VOSSCO® is constructed of a homogeneous mixture of approximately equal parts of new, un-vulcanized elastomer and unused synthetic fibers permanently bonded to assure lasting strength and stability. VOSSCO® is most often used in precast structures. VOSSCO® is also used as a structural bearing and bedding pad material in select state’s Department of Transportation projects.
Typical VOSSCO® applications include double tee end plate pads, guard rail, hand rail, fence base plate pads, on clip angles under precast panels, and in strips under hollow core planks.
VOSSCO® is available in 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ thicknesses. 1/8″ material is available in widths up 48″ with lengths in excess of 48″ are available. 1/8″ material is limited to 48″ wide. For 1/4″ thickness and above, pads are limited to a maximum 48″ x 48″ from stock materials. Single piece pads up to 48″ wide x 100″ long are available via special order for 3/8″ and 1/2″ thick material.
